Imagine Your Blog Eight Years On From Your First Post & Celebrate With Someone Who’s There Already
Grow Your Writing Business community member, Meryl from Meryl.net is celebrating an amazing 8 years with her blog on June 1st.
Yes, that’s right Meryl first post was on June 1st, 2000. 8 years… that’s a lot in blog years. Congratulations Meryl.
Can you imagine your blog 8 years from now? Will blogging have changed? Interesting reflections. More on that later in this post.
I love to celebrate other people’s successes and a 8 year blog birthday is definitely something special. Meryl is throwing a blog party. Do you want to donate a prize (time, money or services)? How about a guest post? Or you can just come along to join in the fun.
Meryl’s in the planning stages for the blog party now, and she’s asking for help.
- Prize donations: In exchange, you’ll get a link with a short write up of the link. Also, readers will be encouraged to link to sponsors in exchange for entries.
- Guest bloggers: Anyone who writes a guest blog entry will be entered into a contest for guest bloggers only.
There will be three separate competitions - for readers, sponsors and guest posters.
Meryl mentioned her first post 8 years ago. I wonder how her first post compares with her latest posts and her approach to blogging. You know, I think I’ll ask her.
