Does your computer sprout sunflowers?
Take Control of Sticky Notes Taking Over Your Writing Desk
Does your computer monitor look like its sprouting sunflowers with an array of yellow sticky “to do” notes all over it?
I’ve moved my sticky note sunflower online. I discovered Google’s “Add More Stuff” link on my home page, and downloaded a mob of “Sticky Notes” add ons. Now my home page is my notepad. You can add extra tabs for up to 5 more pages. Each sticky note and drop down bar can be named, so I have one for current writing projects, one for blog ideas etc.
It gives me a ton of space to jot down ideas, reminders, notes and to make lists. As it’s all just a glance away, I can quickly add things that flit across my mind. I can take things off the list as I do them too. (That’s a good feeling.) It’s so beautifully simple. Love it!
I’m a fan of pen and paper too, but if you’re a list maker, this is great. There are also sophisticated versions of making a computer your notepad, including Microsoft One Note.
Quick Tip
The quickest way to add more “google tools” to the same page, is to refresh after each addition is confirmed. You can add as many as you like.
How About You?
I’d love to hear how you keep your notes and ideas organised - online or otherwise?
