Blog Mastermind Review #3
Time - A Commitment or Investment? Or Both?
After my previous Blog Mastermind Review #2 on August 25th, I have to report that Blog Mastermind Mentoring Program is really starting to buzz, and is growing every day. I’m parting with cold hard cash for this, so I’m soaking up every bit of information - forum, videos, audios, e lessons etc. I think I have information overload right now, as I want to know it all! It’s time to slow down, refocus and take it one step at a time. Yaro suggests you need to commit 2 hours per day on Blog Mastermind strategies and content, so it’s a very big commitment (or investment, if you prefer to look at it that way.)
Is There More To Success Than Money?
It’s interesting that we’re talking about success this month at Grow Your Writing Business. A lot of people who’ve asked me about the Blog Mastermind Mentoring Program, equate success with money. “Yes. But how much money are you making?” Sure, I want to earn money from this too, but I’m not there yet. In fact, I have a much clearer vision of where I want to head, and money is most definitely a big part of it. Like the hare and the tortoise, for me at least, slow and steady wins the race.
Success Is About Freedom & Choices Too
I’m learning about freeing up my time by outsourcing - not just the concept, but the how to, as well as other strategies. Blog Mastermind is a bit like Tim Ferriss’s 4 Hour Working Week in action, with similar principles. Instead of having e.g 15 blogs all earning a little bit, and getting burned out in the process with no time for yourself, it’s about employing strategies and programs to automate as much as possible, and to earn recurring passive income. It’s also about blogging savvy.
Essentially it’s about aiming for a good income from your blog, with a work life balance that gives you freedom of choice and freedom of time. That’s just some of what Blog Mastermind is about. Yaro gives you the “how to”, and so do your fellow mentees. Do I sound like I’ve joined the Yaro cult? You know, I think I have.
The Value of Networking at Blog Mastermind
Where I’m up to at the moment with Blog Mastermind is doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff on my blog, when I should be writing more posts. But the main learning for me at the moment, is insights into how the “big players” do things, as well as sharing the journey and seeing the progress of my fellow Blog Mastermind mentees, as they share their progress or ask for advice. I am blown away by the generosity and collegiality of the Blog Mastermind group, both in the forum and outside. I have learned so much and am moving forward.
I have had the opportunity to network with others who are serious about being professional bloggers, and making a living from it. This also includes many who are already successful, but want to learn new techniques. There have been guest post offers and offers to run ideas by others outside the Blog Mastermind forum. There are so many talented and motivated bloggers there, from beginners to seasoned pros.
Want To Know More About Blog Mastermind?
Did I mention, after 2 months in the mentoring program, I’m now sold on the value of Blog Mastermind? It’s not just what Yaro offers, but what all the other members bring to the table too. If you have any questions about the Blog Mastermind Program or joining up, I’ll do my best to answer them.

Thanks for the suggestions Yvonne! We launched a Mastermind Group Resources Blog to give entrepreneurs strategies to get the most from their Mastermind Groups and I was pleased to see your post! If you are interested in being a guest blogger on our blog to discuss Mastermind Groups, just email me!
Keep up the great work!
Evan.
Evan - Thanks for dropping by. I’ll email you in the next week or so.
Are you still pleased with this program? This is the latest post I could find.
Thanks
Yes, I am. The big thing you need to ask yourself is whether you can commit the time to it. It needs a minimum of 2 hours per day, they recommend. I’m struggling with that at the moment. The program is blogging meets internet marketing. I’ll try to do another update in the next month.
