This Week at Grow Your Writing Business

As well as regular posts, we’re talking SUCCESS here at Grow Your Writing Business this month. I’m inviting you to share your writing and blogging successes.
Writers Cafe Opens In Style
Did you get a chance to visit our newly opened Virtual Writers & Bloggers Cafe over the weekend? Thanks to all who helped to kick it off. It was a ton of fun. We kept the chef busy with baking fresh muffins, and we talked writing and everyday life.
Visit the Weekend Writers & Bloggers Cafe and hang out with us this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Writers Cafe is open all weekend. Add a comment and bring a useful link of interest to writers or bloggers, to share if you like. (No affiliate links).
I’d love it if you can help spread the word, and I look forward to seeing you there on Friday, or anytime over the weekend.
Success Stories
I’ve been looking forward to sharing your writing and blogging successes this week, so that’s a highlight for me this week. Keep an eye out for some fellow writers and bloggers success stories. I’ve heard from many regular readers already sharing their successes and progress. It’s been truly inspiring and very exciting to be on this shared journey, and to celebrate together.
If you are a regular reader or comment even occasionally at Grow Your Writing Business, I want to hear from you. Let’s shout it out to the world. The successes can be big or small. I’ll include one or more of your successes and link to your home page. Contact me via the blog contact form in the top right navigation.
Blog Mastermind Review #3
There’s a real buzz at Blog Mastermind now, and things are really starting to kick into gear. I’ve had a lot of response to my series of Blog Mastermind Reviews. I am getting more sold on the program every day. I’m taking it slowly, and am seeing some positive results already. Keep an eye out for another update this week.
b5 media Guest Posts
As a follow up to my Starting Your Own Specialty Bookstore guest post, a reader asked - “How do I get permission to resell the books on my website? How many do you have to sell to get a good discount, etc.?” Her thought was that selling books online would be a good addition to her Alzheimer’s blog. I answered this in a guest post at b5 media’s Alzheimer’s Notes, as a guest of Mary Emma Allen. These tips are equally applicable to anyone wanting to start an online bookstore.
I’m writing an ebook on Starting Your Own Home Based Specialty Bookstore at the moment, but this will take a while to pull together, in between paid writing jobs.
If you are a home business owner or a writer who markets locally, you’ll want to read my tried and true tips on How To Get The Most Out Of Your Advertising Flyers - Basic Test Marketing. It’s coming up later this week at Home Biz Notes, where I’m writing a monthly guest post. I’ll let you know when it’s up. While pitched at home business owners with walk in traffic, there are lots of tips that a savvy writer marketing in their own area will find useful. I’ll show you how to target your advertising and save money.

I can personally vouch for the fact the Yvonne serves excellent muffins at her cafe.
Laura - Wait till you see what I have the chef baking for this week’s Writers Cafe!
BTW - I believe he’s open to special orders too. If you want to put in a request for something especially yummy, just let me know, and I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks, Yvonne, for mentioning your guest posts at Alzheimer’s Notes and Home Biz Notes. It’s enjoyable having you appear on my blogs.
Mary Emma
I’m really enjoying my guest posts at b5 media with you. Thanks so much.
OK, I am in. Just gimme more details. What exactly do you want me to do? Post a success story on my blog and link to you or should I send you the details and you write the story?
Mig - Great that you’re going to join in. Just send me the details. I’ve just sent you an email.
