  1. A milestone here, I just celebrated my 1 year blogiversary on Sept 5. I’ve been happily blogging away for an entire year. Check it out at http://www.livethepower.com/blog/. Make sure and read some posts from the past in the archives as lately it’s been blogging celebration and blogging things and less writing. I’ll be back to writing next week.

  2. Hi Karen - A year goes quickly doesn’t it. Happy blogiversary. That’s definitely something to celebrate. Congratulations!

I’m heading over to check it out now.

  3. I’ll be writing a post about my writing success and link over here next week. Thanks for the opportunity to share!

  4. Michelle - I look forward to reading all your successes. You’re on a roll.

  5. Hi Yvonne, thanks for the opportunity to share! Hmm..my biggest milestone came a couple of weeks ago - 500 RSS subscribers! I am pretty happy considering my blog came out of pre-launch at the end of April, and I have been packed out doing so much other stuff.

  6. Albert - Wow! 500 subscribers since April. That’s fantastic! Congratulations! Any tips to share?

  7. Hehe, thanks for the kind words. Hmm…the three biggest things I attribute it to would be content, blog carnivals, and StumbleUpon…

  8. Albert - Thanks for the insights.

I remember when you started with the $1 for charity challenge. That was an innovative idea, and a win win for both you and the charities It would have put you on the map too and got you noticed in the early stages of your blog. Great to see you doing so well.

BTW - I’m an Aussie too, and also at Blog Mastermind. Hope you’ll visit again.

  9. You run a great blog, Yvonne, I’ll subscribe right away. Stay in touch, and let me know if you need anything - always here to help another Aussie and fellow BMMer!

  10. Albert - That is so cool! Thanks for your support and encouragement. I’ll definitely be in touch. Look forward to it.

  11. 500 RSS subscribers?! That’s so exciting!

I’m bookmarking this post, Yvonne, and will send you my story soon (hopefully, haha)!

  12. Alicia - Yep - 500 RSS Subscribers is definitely something to aim for. I love it when people inspire me!
I look forward to hearing about your successes, and what you learned.

  13. Well one milestone for me was posting my first podcast. I was pretty pleased with myself to have taken the Audacity learning curve solo and produced and edited the podcast by myself. I did have some difficulties in wrestling with the plugin until I finally managed to post it. Hey, turns out I have an accent! I’ve spent the last thirty years in Australia denying it but I guess now I’ll have to accept it.

  14. Karen - Great! A podcast is on my list too. Good on you for paving the way.

Accents depend on the listener. As a fellow Aussie, when I’m in the U.S. people often think I’m from England or New Zealand. And quite a few even ask me if I’m from Boston. ;)

  15. Did I loose my chance to submit my post? Just the fact that I’m writing everyday is a huge milestone for me!
