And Here’s Another Group Writing Project

Robert Hruzek at Middle Zone Musings has another What I Learned From… group writing project. Last time I wrote What I Learned from Procrastinating. This time the topic is work, and is open ended enough that any blogger can write on something relevant to their specific blog focus.

Robert says -

“Yep, it’s time for another round of stories from you, the readers, for this month’s What I Learned From… project. So, sharpen up your keyboards, my friends, and put on your thinking caps, because this time I’m going to give you a topic.

This month’s topic is the world of work. You can write anything you like, as long as it has something to do with work.

The project will be open for contributions from now until next Sunday night, June 10, so ladies and gentlemen, start your pencils!”

There’s also the Successful Blog group writing project I mentioned yesterday - “What is Your Blogging Metaphor?

  1. Hi, Yvonne! Thanks for the mention!

And reading the entries in that Blogging Metaphor project has been a blast!

  2. Hmmm…metaphors…we writers are supposed to be pretty good at those. I’ll have to see whether I can come up with an effective one–and whether I can find the time (between projects) to actually write about it!

    Thanks, Yvonne!

  3. When you are done with this, please send me the link, Yvonne. I’m going to participate in the blogging metaphor too. :) But I think you already know mine: the dreamcatcher.

  4. Hi Yvonne, How very nice and sweet of you to stop by and visit and remember me. I have not found work yet, but I am really not looking very hard anymore. I find all your post so interesting and full of good information. If I ever entertain the thought of starting a business all the information I’ve obtained through your site and other’s will be of such tremendous help. I truly just want to work for someone else, not myself. lol. Congratulations on winning the book. Sounds like one I would like to read sometime. My prayers for you are continued success and happiness.

  5. Robert - I enjoyed being part of your last project, so count me in on this one.

Jeanne - I look forward to reading your post. I’m mulling it over myself.

Mig - Dreamcatchers - perfect! I’ll be by to read about your metaphor. I’ll let you know when I’ve posted - probably on the weekend.

Nancze - How nice to see you here. Thank you for your positive feedback and your kind words and wishes. I’m pleased you find it useful.
