Sources of Inspiration
As I look out of my window in the early morning I see green everywhere… eucalyptus trees, lush rainforest fronds and elegant tree ferns. Mischievous kookaburras hop up onto my verandah railing. I hear birds singing and it’s a glorious day.
Not all days are like today, but every day and every experience or interaction brings inspiration for writing. I love being an idea catcher. Writing ideas seem to whirl around my head like brainsparks.
But most of all my inspiration for living, laughing and writing comes from people. I’m inspired by people who are positive and have a zest for life. I am inspired by quiet achievers of both the present and the past.
I’m inspired by my family and also people whose lives I am part of for the briefest of moments through fleeting snapshots on the tv news. I’m inspired by bloggers such as Don Crowdis, a 93 year old blogger, and by my fellow writers. And of course, I am inspired by the wonder of the interactive blogosphere, the camaraderie, the goodwill and the learning. Who or what inspires you?
