As Gayla says of her great forum at Mom Gadget, everyone has or had a mother, so they are all welcome at MomGadget. Similarly, the resources listed here are not exclusive to mothers or women.

Any I’ve Missed?
Which are your favourite writing hangouts? I know there will be some great blogs and sites I’ve missed. Let me know in the comments any you can personally recommend, and I’ll add them here. This is a list I’d like to build and update.

Thanks for the links yvonne.. Really showing this to my mom this coming mother’s day
Great Carl. I hope your mom will enjoy visiting them… Happy Mother’s Day to Carl’s mom, and to all the other mothers reading this post.
Wow! It’s great list and I’m really honored to be included on it. Thanks for consistently providing such good information!
Thanks Laura. Of course Writing Thoughts is on the list.
Your blog is a great source for mothers (and everyone else) interested in writing.
Happy Mother’s Day to you, too, Yvonne and thank you for always dropping by. Gotta go and start visiting those sites you have on the list. Thanks for opening up the gates for me.
Princess
Hope you enjoy exploring the sites. Happy reading. Happy writing, and of course, Happy Mother’s Day.
Hi Yvonne. Thanks for the Mother’s Day greeting. These are interesting links. Thanks for sharing and I’ll try visiting some of them soon. Happy weekend!
Hi Rach - Hope you enjoy visiting these sites. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks for the great list of resources for Moms (and Grandmoms) who write or aspire to write. One I’ve belonged to for years is Momwriters. Many gals who have belonged to this group have found the encouragement they needed to persevere and become known in the writing world…for their books, columns, and their support of other moms who write.
I see you have Absolute Write listed. I write a monthly column, “Promoting Your Prose,” for their sister publication, Absolute Markets.
Happy Mother’s Day, Everyone!
Mary Emma - Thanks for the tip abou Momwriters. It looks like a very comprehensive resource. I’ve added it to the list. Thanks for the tip.
And what a great list that is!
Thanks Mig. It was fun discovering them all. In between that and the Problogger Top 5 lists I have on my reading list, I will be busy, but look forward to learning lots.
This is a great list– thanks for sharing! It’s nice to discover new forums and blogs to frequent!
You can add my site…wink wink! Great sites, I will have to check all of them out.
Yvonne,
Looks like you’ve got some great resources here! I’m looking forward to checking them all out! Thanks for visiting my blog! I’ll be moving to my own domain very soon. Will let you know when I do.
Jeanne
Thank you so much, Yvonne, for including my link on your “mom writers” list. I’m eager to check out some of the other writing moms’ blogs! Writing and motherhood really do blend together so beautifully.
Jeanne - Thanks. When you have your new domain name I’ll update my list to include a link to your site. I look forward to you visiting again.
Jillian - You are very welcome. Writing and motherhood are a good match for a lot of mothers. It sounds like that’s the case for you. Hope you’ll call in again.
Yvonne, thank you so much for linking to Mother Words: Mothers Who Write. I am so honored to be on your list!
Thank you! Oh, and do you know MOMbo? Nanci Olesen has podcasts available at www.mombo.org. She’s wonderful!
Hi Kate - You’re very welcome. I’ve added mombo as well. Thanks for the tip… looks like an interesting site.
Thank you for the link Yvonne! I am honored to be on a list with so many other great blogs and forums! Enjoy your weekend!
You’re welcome Lisa. I hope others will discover and enjoy your blog as much as I do.
Yvonne,
Thanks so much for including a link to my new Writer’s Notes domain in your list! While the site still needs a bit more organizing and my old posts haven’t been moved over from Orble yet, the site IS live now, and hopefully everything will be squared away soon!
As soon as I can get everything better organized, I’ll set up a resource list of my own at my new domain and include a second, more visible, link to your site. At some point, perhaps, I’ll even manage to find the time to write a blog post featuring your site.
Thanks again!
Jeanne
good list… you might want to add www.thegoldenpencil.com resources for freelance writers by a successful freelance writer.
